Epson SX420w Driver Download - Stylus SX420W is part of a series of individual consumers seeking especially versatile color printer for office work that can also handle prints . It is a budget wifi 3in1 which can print and scan. Epson praised the speed, simplicity and power. You navigate the screens of 3.8 cm using the buttons on both sides. One button for copy / scan, one to print photos by selecting them on the screen - after you insert the card (XD, SD, MS Pro) into the printer - one-button installation, the button resizes and of course the usual start / stop. Very easy to use, although we would prefer to have the touch screen options. Kap is covered in a textured material (sort of effect nail files) that remains shiny at the same time limiting the finger marks. Scratches do not however appear. Under the hood you'll find a room for four separate cartridges: black, cyan, magenta and yellow. Epson has not adopted the ISO standard to evaluate the print speed and the speed they announced are as luxurious as ever: 35 pages per minute (ppm) for black and white according to Epson, while we scored it at 8 ppm. The same applies to color: 15 ppm announced by Epson, whereas our test put at 4 ppm. Photo print took almost four minutes to A4 and 1mn 20 to print 10 x 15 cm. It is slow but once again, we should really expect such models to provide high speed? If you forget the fact that Epson claims to be fast and strong, you would not expect entry level model to solve any speed records.

Print quality depends partly on the resolution (1200 x 2400 dpi on this model). It tells you how many pixels you get in inches (horizontal and vertical). The setting is the lowest resolution of 600 x 600 dpi (A3 printer designed for photo can go up to 5760 x 1440 dpi). Droplet size contributes to the impression of blurring especially around the contours of the face. Black & white prints colored by red so you can not call them black and white. Scanner resolution is 1200 x 2400 dpi. Time scanning to document 300 dpi is 17 seconds, which is rather slow. Some printers take 7 seconds. Genesis S 815 with its Flash Scan technology, scan the document in just 3 seconds. Like most multifunction printers, scan quality is less detail and sharpness. Color difference 8.2% is high, ie. less color accuracy.

Copy are also a bit slow to print: 33 seconds for the first color and 22 seconds for black and white, or an averge of 8 ppm . Once again poor quality. For text, this copier will do very well, but do not try and get it to do pictures or graphics.
