Canon MP480 Driver Download - Canon PIXMA MP480 offers a good compromise between quality and price. It is certainly not the fastest printer, but print quality consistency and worth the few extra dollars over the cost of competitors. Control gives the user access to multifunctional basic settings, menu selection and copy direct photo printing. Given the space available on the control panel a flip-up LCD screen is a little disturbing and make the selection of photos of a complicated process. However, for most of the interface is easy to navigate. MP480 will not be impressed when it comes to speed. Standard text documents will print at an average of 8.6 pages per minute in draft quality, with the first page in 11.7sec. Surprisingly, bumping up to normal quality does not affect the speed of many: units documents at 7.4ppm using this setting is printed.print documents at 6.3ppm somewhat acceptable, normal quality documents with graphics slowing to 2.9ppm. Photo print speed is not terrible, however, with a standard 4x6in photo printing in A4 photo in 34sec and 1min 25sec.

At best, the MP480 does a reasonable job with the print quality. Dark text, so it can be read but a bit too accurate and blurred for professional use. Using a combined color ink cartridges that MP480 can print colors bright if a little too bright. With photos, color, mostly black life but not as deep as we would have liked. There is no evidence of an appeal or gradient problems, which is quite an achievement for a unit at this price point. However, scanning quality leaves much to be desired. Although the MP480 maximum scanning resolution of 2400x4800 dots per inch is received, scanning in this setting results in a loss of fine detail and accurate colors. The resulting image is often under-saturated, which has a particular impact on the photo.

At 24.1c per page, MP480 somewhat expensive to run, which may affect the support of more expensive multifunctions that have lower operating costs.
